TWIN FALLS, ID – In a room full of industry legends, one of Standard Dairy Consultants’ (SDC) most accomplished nutritionists was honored with a prestigious Southern Idaho accolade in the livestock space. Dan Kluth, who has served dairy producers throughout Idaho for more than three decades, was officially inducted into the Southern Idaho Livestock Hall of Fame during the organization’s 64th annual banquet held Tuesday, April 8 in Twin Falls.
A resident of Idaho and a cornerstone of SDC since May of 1993, Dan’s induction marks a fitting tribute to his 32 years of service, excellence in dairy cattle nutrition, and enduring impact on the region’s livestock community. His dedication to his clients and passion for improving herd productivity and health have been hallmarks of his career.
A History of Winning
Over the years, Dan’s achievements have been nothing short of remarkable. He has consistently ranked among the top nutrition consultants at SDC and has been recognized with numerous company honors.
Each year that Dan has been recognized, company leadership described him as a pace-setter—someone whose personal bests consistently raised the bar for what was possible. His achievements include breaking milestone after milestone, a feat that reflects both his work ethic and the trust he has earned from dairy producers across the region.

A Legacy of Leadership
Beyond the accolades and records, Dan is deeply respected by his colleagues, clients, and peers. In recent years, Dan has broadened his focus to include mentoring the next generation of nutrition consultants, He’s currently working with several team members to instill the high standard of service and care he is known for, ensuring the dairy producers he has worked with for years continue to thrive.
Dan joins an esteemed group of 2025 Hall of Fame inductees, including equine veterinarian Dr. Alan Clark, cattle producers Lyle “Fritz” and Donna Fuller, Eugene and Heidi Matthews, cattle buyer Spike Reese, and retired University of Idaho extension range economist Dr. Neil Rimbey.
